Default Looking for Skimmer (Calgary or Edmonton)

Hi Guys,

I am looking to buy a used Skimmer In Calgary or maybe Edmonton.

I am looking for a Remora (20-75 Gallons) Skimmer or a Prism Hang-On (10-90 Gallons) Skimmer.

Thanks

IMO, stay away from the Prizm, but the remora is a good choice.

I have a CPR BakpakII hang-on that I used for 1 year on my 55g with great success, I am asking $125 for it. I am in Edmonton though.

Hi TheReefGeek;

Thanks for the offer I will keep you in mind: mrgreen: , But I have done my homework and I want one of these two skimmers if possible. I have a 30G FOWLR tank and I am looking for a skimmer with a small foot print. I have seen these two skimmers running and they both will fit nice on my tank.

Thanks

Sounds good, lemme know if you are interested.

FYI, these are the dimensions I found for the skimmers:

The CPR BakPak is:

7.5" wide, 3" deep, 17" high

The Remora is:

6" x 2.75" x 17"

The prizm is:

crap

I don't think your homework took performance into account

II am just looking for a cheep skimmer with a small foot print for my 30G FOWLR tank it does not have to be real powerful. My Coralife is way to powerful and has a big foot print for in my small 30G FOWLR.

dirtyreefer what type of skimmer do you recommend for a small FOWLR?

If anyone wants to trade my Coralife 65 for a small skimmer I would consider.

Thanks
