Bev, I "think" (hope?) it's a scratch. It hasn't grown since I noticed it. I think it's from when the tank was transported to my house, there must have been a sharp spot in the back of my truck and when the tank was slid in and out of back hatch it must have dragged over it. It's still pretty noticeable but at least the ritteri sort of blocks it.
