Same here. Couldn't get the calcium above 240 and after a bad dose in my 10 gal and the loss of two cleaner shrimp and a beautiful regal
 I decided to learn something. I started a mag drip and got better, filtered the water and got better. This was all over a year ago and everything is getting better. And I haven't tried to put a regal in a 10 gal again. Dumb, dumb, dumb. As far as the mechanics. Leave the fixing of cars to professionals.... Or I'm out of a job  Mike
