Thanks everyone. The day after was worse than we could have imagined. Perhaps a little better today. Its sad enough for use but our female dobie/lab, goes down to the bedroom every now & then, where the little guys bed was and checks to see if he,s back there.
 He was a major part of our life for almost 17yrs. and had an amazing zest for life, right to the end.

wow doug. i would like to send my deepest condolences to you and your wife. i know that it is very hard to loose someone like that. Hope you have brighter days ahead.
