![]() My maroon clown's appetite has dropped off recently, and it's about the same time I noticed a lot of pods showing up in my tank. Is it possible that he's chowing down on pods and skipping the flake food that he used to devour? He still eats, but not the same amount that he used to.

![]() He might be in need of meaty foods.. don't always feed flakes. Use mysis or silversides.. maroons (or clowns of any species IMO) are pigs... but he MAY be eating pods... because he wants some more meaty foods perhaps.

![]() I should have said that I feed flakes in the morning and feed shrimp or cyclopeeze at night.

![]() I'd say if he's still eating then not to worry... keep feeding more meaty foods rather than cyclopeeze for now if you think he's not getting enough. I can only assume meaty foods such as mysis, shrimp, etc.. would be more filling than cyclopeeze or flakes.
