Default what is this?

i got a sw fish tank set up from someone at my work that had one that they had no time or room to set up. they told me that i was all set with filtration and stuff because it had it all; but after reading a couple chapters from the new marie aquarium i think they were wrong. Not to mention that the stand looks to have some water dam. anyway does anyone know what this is?

thanks
ADAM

Possibly an older version of the modules indicated here....
http://www.pentairaquatics.com/produ..._products.html

...or maybe this....
http://www.pentairaquatics.com/produ...L_filters.html

I noticed in your picture, one of the modules has a label on it.
What does it say? Lifegard?

HTH,

that would be some very old skool mechanical filtration units. one of those canisters might be a uv and another might be a heat exchanger. whatever they are your better off skipping them and going with a more modern sump and skimmer setup.
