IceCap 400W MH electronic ballasts

Anyone using the IceCap 400W MH electronic ballasts yet?
Id like to hear what you think of them.

I just ordered the 400w E-Ballast from Premium Aquatics. Hoping to get them tomorrow. The ICE Cap are about 2X the cost and I read through Sanjay's article that the output isn't as good as the Blueline (E-Ballast)
BTW. J&L has the Icecap they are nice looking, really small

Hey Jason,

I run 3 x 400 ,

I am very happy with them, the pic you show is of the old type.
They were the dimmable ones.

The newer type has more output. 415 watts i believe, but are not dimmable.

Eballasts cannot be rebuilt, Icecap can.
Service for each are not even comparable....Ice cap, hands down.

A very happy customer here.

come to think of it what are you doing at home and goofing on the internet.

Hey I appreciate everything you have put into it. I'll make sure I have a few pops around tomorrow night. That should help ease the pain
