![]() Hey. Just picked up some live clams/muscles from the grocery store today to feed my Trigger. Oysters too. How do most of you prepare them for feeding this beauty? Leave them in fresh water? boil them? does boiling them remove too much nutrients? Any suggestions? He's not quite big enough to crack through the shells himself yet. (3 inches)

![]() I don't know about Triggers but I have taken all the sea food I got at the store plus some Selcon and maybe some speralina add some saltwater and blended it all up. Once it is small enough (Maybe bigger for a Trigger) I put it in a zip lock bag and layed it flate in the freezer.
Then each day I break a bit off, thaw it and feed the tank Customer food for pennies a day ![]() J |
