I'd go with the two seio 820s. Like it was said before, it'd give you more flexibility in terms of directing water movement and reducing dead spots. I had a 620 and an 820 plus ~600gph from the sump on my old 30g half cube and I found that flow was about right (BB mixed reef tank)... if I did it again, I'd probably replace that 620 with an 820.

If you are heading down to Calgary, check out Golds for their seios. They are priced like J&L (or cheaper?).
