Now, I am having a bit of a problem understanding which thread you are referring to. I can't remember any thread in the sump that was 8 pages long and only contained "one persons biblical/political heresay", could you point me to that thread? The reason we don't pick up the phone and call each other is that we couldn't afford the phone bill. You see some of the posters who participate in those threads are from different countries and bring a different perspective to the discussions. I for one feel that it is important to listen to others views in order to broaden my knowledge on various subjects. As far as the "few other hundred/thousand members" reading these points of view so that someone can get a swollen head, I never thought of it that way. I just figured if someone didn't want to read anothers point of view they would simply not read it. If someone wishes to start or post their point of view on a subject, then they do, happens every day. In fact, I think the sump is one of the most tolerant places for posting ones point of view.
