My moonlight (eBay) is very similiar (6 blue LED's in a 5" tube).
It's nice and compact and the colour is cool, but it's BRIGHT! I'm going to mask off the center 4 LED's with black electrical tape, to tone it down a bit. It's more of a beam, with the center being brightest and the edges darker... My tank is 4 ft long... HTH, ~Tamara
