Got mine from premium aquatics, yes there is a sizeable savings with ordering them in the US, and you will not pay duty as they are made in the U.S (thank you NAFTA), you will just have to pay GST, and PST if you live in BC

Funny about that Duty thing, I ordered mine and had Fedex Broker it. I got charged duty on mine.

Broken Down like this:

$416.47 in product (Bought other things too)
GST: 29.15
Duty: 14.86
GST: 44.11
Brokerage: 42.25
GST: 2.96
Disbursment Fees: 5.50
GST: 0.39
For a Nice Total of 110.07

Now I am disputing the additional GST fee on the invoice as well as duty, but this is EXACTLY as it was sent from Fedex for shipment.

Oh and if you are getting it from Premium Like I did, specifically ask for Fedex, it gets here in once piece and their brokerage fees are cheaper than UPS. UPS SUCKS so does USPS.

G

Edit: Just got off the phone with Fedex, they are looking into the GST buggerup. BUT the Duty stands because XM makes their lights in China, and so does Coralife and Aqualifter. Ergo, Duty. But the Skimmer, Barracuda and C-Syphon Overflow were US so no duty. I urge anyone getting things shipped from the US to Question everything on your brokerage invoice... They try and screw you as much as they can. especially UPS.

These guys had an excellent price on the G3. Great customer service too. Use "RC" for the coupon code to get an additional 10%(i think) off.

I used USPS as well, took just under two weeks from premium aquatics to my house in Duncan.
