![]() Hi, I'm about to start building my lighting system and my hood. My question is can 4 vho and 2 hallide fit in a 48"x18" hood ???
Cause I'm planning this : 2 vho actinic 12h/day 2 actinic whites 10h/day 2 hallide 5-6h/day PS. Can a wh7 drive 2vhos cause I was planning using 2 wh7 or 2 hellolights ballast for my vhos. thanks.. |

![]() Not sure if you'll fit all that in, but yes, a workhorse 7 will run 2 48" VHO tubes.
Whether everything will fit or not depends on what type of reflectors you use. |

![]() Yes, if you mount the halides perallel to the length of the tank (though you won't get as good of a spread as mountingperpendicular) it can be done.

![]() If I light 2 vhos with 1 wh7, will they be bright as if they were on an icecap or an hellolights ballast ???
PS. If I decide to go with the wh7, can some1 buy it and ship it to me cause here in montreal they doesn't seems to be available... |

![]() Although I haven't used those other ballasts, Stircrazy, who knows all about lighting, says they are the same. I use the WH7 with 2 48" tubes and am very happy with it. Check www.fulham.com for a distributor near you.
