so which is better fluval 4?? or rena xp3?

IMO Renas are better...

Consider as well....eheims they are an even better filter in regards to biological filtration.

Depends on what the sytem is like and you would like to accomplish.

i've got 3 rena's from xp1-xp3 and have nothing but good things to say about them...others may vary in opinion of course...(as they will)
