Default weird invert on crab shells

on my orange hermit crabs shell are a couple cone like shaped hitch hikers on it, they don't seem to move, but i've seen like little tentacles come out from under it. any ideas what they are?

I believe it is a slipper snail. I tried to find some good pictures of one but this was the best I could get.

I have one, on one of my astrea snails. The link says they are white, but mine is covered in coraline.
