Default Revenge of the Sith

Major spoiler alert: Annikin Skywalker falls into LAVA!!! And turns into DARTH VADER!!! I mean.. who knew!?

....

Ok so seriously ...

So who's gone and seen it yet?

I admit it; I'm a terrible geek. I didn't plan on going at first because my wife and I are expecting our first and our due date is officially "AnyMinuteNow(tm)." But a group from work were going and one of their spouses couldn't make it so there was an extra ticket dangled in front of me and ... "yoink!" said me, and away I went to catch the noon showing.

I have to say, it's not bad. I had low expectations but then they got high again after I started hearing good reviews, and of course the Darth Blog of late made me really sort of get all hyped.

It definitely closes the story. It is unpleasant watching Annikin's fall from grace, you know it's going to happen, yet still, ... some very dark moments.

Some of Padme's lines are really quite trite, at least anything concerning the romantic relationship. But, Jar Jar has no speaking lines so I guess you have to give a little and take a little.

On the whole, I give it a solid "not bad." If you go see it, let me know what you think too.

Suppose I still should see the very first Starwars before I watch the rest....

I was impressed, a little too much love, and not enough blood, but all in all a good flick.

LOL, just download it

Is it worth watching or would it be a waste of time and free passes.

I say it's worth watching. Heck, I didn't even hate episodes 1 & 2, so I guess you have to take my comments in context, I love Star Wars. Although nothing will supplant the original 3 for me. I'm starting to wonder if Lucas might make a completely flawless movie and I'd still feel that way (i.e., not as good as those 3). "Look I'm not denying you worked hard on it, ok?"

It is not flawless. Like I said there are a few scenes where you're just .. "aw come on. ". But they are few. And there is a classic sort of "Noooooooooooooooooooooo" scene at the end which is a little comical (but not intended as such).

I liked it though.

I saw it last night and there were to many people dressed up all weird for my liking. It had more one on one fighting scenes than massive battles. Pretty good movie though.
