Where is the hole drilled???
Can it be patched???

36x18x24 is actually 65 gallons.

hole is drilled on the left side

Yes if you want patch it. i currently run it without a sump. you can always use a bulk head.
Any pics???

no glass top, sorry
but i will include Plex top.

How old is the tank???

Do you have a bulk head that could be used to cover the hole???

What do you consider reasonable????
