I wonder how long it has lived in there - and at what size it managed to sneak inside? Does anyone know if this sort of thing has been reported before?

Still pretty cool, even if it is like looking up somebody's skirt...

Does he look something like this ? Small shrimp sometimes do live inside the inhalant siphon. Apparently they don't harm the clam. They are from the shrimp family Palaemondidae. Thats a great pic you got
