Can you afford a chiller? I don't blame you for thinking the local stuff is cool, plumous anemone, aggregate polyps/anemone (which ever they are going by these days) etc etc all would make a wonderful display.
That being said, some of our local rock especially from campbell river area has wonderful pink and purple coraline algae on it, I wonder if it would survive at all. Doug
