what kind of camera did you use to take those pics?

Those were taken with a Canon Powershot S40. Good little compact type camera for general purpose but not great for Macro shots. Because its a 4.0 megapixel camera, I can take pictures from a farther distance and then crop it for the web and it'll look like a good Macro shot. If I had something like a Canon G2, the Macro will be much better.

I had the crabs in a beige bucket and the flash turned the background white. Turned out better than I expected.
