Default adding a clam! Help!!!

When adding a clam to the tank, do I need to turn off all my lights?

No, the clam can open and close as required for any adjustment in lighting...

I would say no need. If there is to much light it will close a little.

He's in. Turned off the 400's but left the 175w on. He's opened up fully.
