![]() Rose bta detached itself from one rock and landed on a colt coral - spent most of last night stinging the colt - this morning the colt was one twentieth of normal size.
Do I have to be concerned about the colt dying and releasing toxins etc.? Or is it likely for the colt coral to come back? I've had experience with xenia and a rose bta and the xenia are pretty tough.

![]() I'd just move the colt and give it lots of circulation. Aside from that, you'll know pretty fast if the colt isn't going to make it -- they deflate and start to flake/rot around the base of the branches.

![]() I knew colt corals could get slimy when stressed, but didn't know about the rotting around the base - thank you for the advice.
