Positive it has manual focus, I use it all the time, specially for macro shots.

Check the review here at dpreview.com. On the first page there under the comparison between the S5000/S7000 you'll see under Manual focus it says "yes buttons".

The camera has 3 focus modes: Single AF, Continuous AF, and Manual Focus. Its the switch on the top, on the left side, take it off LOCK, then press the button till you get MF on your LCD. That puts you into manual focus mode. Then while holding down the +/- button on the top, press the wide/tele (zoom) buttons to adjust the focus point. Volia, manual focus
