Why, oh why is JL selling dictyota algae, that stuff is a menace, nothing eats it and it spreads like crazy. I would rather have hair algae and cyano and i have had first hand experience of all three

yeah and they are also selling sand dollars.. nothing like a sand dollar for killing your bed!

Sounds like it would be good in a refugium. Have had red dictyota like that in my tank. Just loved it. I think my emerald crab did it in

I'm not sure i would trust it even in a refugium, I spent 8 mths of weekly rock tweezering to get rid of that stuff, at least with hair algae i could use a toothbrush

I don't know about a toothbrush. I used a yellow tang on my hair algae, he made short work of it, better than any snail or crab. JMO

My Eunicid worms love this stuff and keep it nicely under control.
