![]() It is a species of acropora, but has not branched yet.
Given the proper conditions, it will color up and branch instead of continuing to encrust. Its not porites or montipora, though those are the most common hitchikers. Montipora and Porites both share a similar coralite, it is almost inverted...in your picture it appears that is not the case. Was this rock in a previous tank before yours? Marc.
