i would have thought that it might have be easier to build the tank in place rather than building it off site and using a crane to get it in there.

the house is half built it would get all dusty and stuff. always wiping it so the silicone would stick.

Huh? I read your post twice and I still don't quite understand what you're trying to get at.... silicone on an acrylic tank? wiping what?

Perhaps reading your post before hitting the submit button would be a good idea .

Anyways, thats a sweet tank, imagine the kind of equipment you'd need to run that sucker

Sorry there rich i always though you siliconed a acrylic tank with special silicone. My bad. but still the acrylic would always be dusty and there is the risk of stuff bumping into the tank and breaking it or scratching it.
