Welcome to Canreef Winchester.

I have found garlic to help sometimes but always wondered if it was just the enviroment or not. Stress is a leading cause of ick. Saying that, a Naso requires a very large tank for its well being.

In certain situations the only cure is removal and treatment in quarentine but I have seen ick go away in tangs, as long as they are placed tanks with no stress and lots of healthy foods, with algaes and the such being their main one. I used to put garlic and Selcon on spirolina flakes and also on the sheets of nori type algaes we feed them.
