I moved a 135 G Reef 2 years ago with no problems. Just have a well planned out approach. I used a nimber of rubber maid containers for the rock, sand, and corals. I pumped the water out int 45 G food grade drums which were in the back of my pickup truck in the garage. Moved the tank. put in place and pumped the water from the truck through a garden hose to the tank. placed the rock and corals put the fish in and turned on the power. Once all way running about a week later I rearranged the rock to its permanent structures. This was all done with out any losses in the middle of winter.
