You could also look at installing T-5 lighting. Not sure where its available out there, but Jayson at Saltwater Connection in Winnipeg can fix you up.

Very nice lighting ,IMO, at least from what I have seen of it.

Nothing wrong with all vho either, if thats the route you wish to go. I have seen some beautiful vho tanks, including sps. Yes you lose the shimmer, but I think the corals have a more intense colour and the coralline grows like mad.

If you decide on halides, {I run a pair of 175 10K Ushio,s powered by Icecaps}, just make sure you have the hood clearance, and proper cooling fans, which both vho and T-5,s need anyways.
