I don't have an apex, but I hear there is a neptune forum where I am sure this question would be answered.
As well, if you buy a new one, invest in a surge protector so this does not happen again. So many electronic devices fail after a power shut down and restart. I have a surge protector on my TV and peripherals as well

I would submit a ticket to Neptune through their website. They are pretty good at diagnostics over the support.
