Default Plant tank to Reef conversion

I have a 58 gallon (36" long) FW plant tank and I am thinking of converting it into a softie/mushroom sumpless reef with a few modifications.

Questions about the lighting and a skimmer.

I have 110 Watts of PC lighting plus a 30 watt NO flourescent grow-light.

Will this be adequate, for mushrooms and softies, if not I can fairly easily upgrade to 2 x 96 Watt pc lighting.

Also I was considering a hang-on Remora or Remora Pro skimmer. I need it to be absolutely silent though as this is a waiting room in my office and I can not stand noise. Who has a Remora and what can you say about the noise these unit make?

Also can I keep a school of Naso tangs in this tank no just kidding.

yes you dont need too much light for softies, I had 8 NO flouresants and 4 actinic on my 280 gallon and grew softies and mushrooms, in a 30 " deep tank.

You could get away with the lights you have now but change the NO bulb to an actinic. Of course, more light is better so upgrading to the dual 96 watt PC would alow you to keep a wider variety of corals. Sorry no experience with Remora but I hear good things about them.
