![]() So I have a eshopps overflow on my 75 gallon. I have noticed it's bowed out a bit in the middle of it. The tank is empty right now, but it's a bit more pronounced when water was in it. Is this something I should be concerned with before setting the tank up again?

![]() Dont quote me on this, but I think it is fine. It is happening due to thin acrylic used. Acrylic tanks will have bowing as well if acrylic is not thick enough.

![]() Yeah you should be good. Acrylic is typically weak on the seams. So as long as the Bowing is happening on the part that's farthest away from the straight 90° seems you will be fine.
Now if you like to be a paranoid person then by all means you can go ahead and add a little bit of reinforcements on the outside to straighten it up.

![]() Good to hear. Really wasn't wanting to have to replace it. When I set it up again I might put some bracing on it. Just to be safe.

![]() Hello
As others said it's fine and I can't possibly imagine it to break unless it's separating out from the seams but that's a totally different thing. Although it's surprising to see that it'd flex for such a small box. Titus

![]() Right? I thought it was weird as well. There's so little water in there.
