![]() I had a snowflake bordering on 3 feet that took 6 months off eating. Was active when food was out. Even bit at cocktail shrimp, but would eat nothing for about 6 months. At the time I was feeding the sharks in the tank a variety of whitefish, and squid, and he would not touch it. It wasn’t until I decided to grab some wild salmon at the grocery store to cube up and give it a try and he was back on eating. Ate two cubes of salmon, then was eating whitefish, squid, shrimp, anything pretty much again within a week . This was about 4 years ago and he’s still around today .

![]() Thanks Nate.
That was the exact info I was searching for. I will keep trying to feed various foods until he decides to eat. |

![]() No problem. Please also note that during that time he was being offered farmed salmon and I only bought the wild salmon on a whim as it was 50% off at the time. After that time he also took a strong liking to cut up octopus arms as well.
