Bleach may not do it, and won't keep it from coming back. I have some stuff at home from a while back when I had a bit of mold (not tank related). It worked great! When I get home I will check out the name for you. It was more like lemon pine-sol in smell. And left behind natural oils that prevented the growth of mold in the future. I don't think the smell of bleach alone would be damaging but I don't know that for sure!
Also if it's in the drywall you may as well rip that out and replace it with new moisture resistant stuff.
