Well I have only had one it's about 4 years old now (we have a new build on the way) but I just loved seeing all the different creatures coming out of the rock when it was new considering get at least a bit of new live rock just to experience that again

I love it all! The design and setup gets the creative juices flowing!
The first year is probably my least favorite... Diatoms... Hair algae... cyano... Bleh! After the tank has matured is my fav. I get to enjoy it more. Plus, we just found a fish yesterday! Lol, bought a circus goby almost a year ago and never saw after the day we put it in the tank. Just found it yesterday chillin under a ledge. Hahaha!
