I wish juicy couture made stuff for salt water. Girlfriend will buy anything with that brand name. Then I don't have to make excuses for my purchases.

You know what they say.

People new to the Hobby pay for everything on Visa or Debit card.

They quickly change to paying with cash. No records and no questions asked.

You just have to ensure no one sees you bringing the bags home and you just have come up with those standard answers.

Is that a new fish?

No I have had him for years he usually hangs out in the back of the tank.

Well, we are both just as silly when it comes to buying corals. Some nights it's ok to have grilled cheese and soup instead of steak and potato, then we go down and look at the pretty corals. Maybe one of us should have a little more sense. But it seems to work.

get a label maker and buy what you want and put the Juicy Couture label on then your safe at least till she realizes it's a fraud. Then you say well the guy said he bought it at Juicy Couture's....

I love how the girl edition is so much shorter

This is why you have one set up before you start dating someone. Set the ground rules and assure that they know its part of the package before commiting to you.

Default reef

Like when I was trying to explain to a non-reefer about my reef tank.

" My reef tank is like a high maintenance Trophy Wife. Beautiful to look at , but requires constant maintaining.
Biggest difference is " my tank doesn't Talk Back" lolll

My plan is simple. Of all the tanks and equipment I have had over the years, nothing was ever purchased without my wife knowing about it. Its always been both our monies and we are always up front with any purchases. Perhaps thats why we are still happily married after 42yrs.

Wow! Doug 42 years of marriage and you with this hobby (addiction) she must be quite the women.

Who can't relate to this! Very funny!
