![]() Thanks, I wanted a true central overflow but needed a way to cover it up nicely, got a lot of help from RC on this one. But it turned out quite nicely I think. By the time I get some water in there and the coraline gets it, I think it will look wicked. Biggest problem was getting the rock to look good with out looking too staged.

![]() That is a very cool overflow encasement. Did it turn out to be very heavy? I never got around to it, but I will go and read your thread on building this monument. I see you have made places to stick some corals on it as well....thats really nice!!

![]() It weighs about 60 lbs, not too bad, worked out pretty good. Lots of builds and info on RC on how to do it. I was going to epoxy and sand it, but I think it will be fine without it. Plus Im having a hard time finding an epoxy that is safe to use, I have called and emailed several companies trying to find a submersible, food grade epoxy with little success. I think in the long run after I have a few corals on it and the coraline algae gets to it, you'll never know the difference anyway.

![]() Very cool Bob, I really like how natural it looks. Should make a great cover for the overflow.

![]() Well my pumps arrived today, found a Canadian supplier for these, took a bit of looking, but well worth it. These pumps have a 5 year warranty and the customer service I received so far was very good. So far quite impressed. Going to fire one up in a tub to see the noise factor, but was told they are very very quiet. Each pump will put out about 3000 gph at 6' of head so plenty to go round.

![]() Are the shafts and the screws titanium? I just pulled the plastic threads out of on of the skimmer bolts last night, no big deal but i see that those have some sort of inserts.
