![]() Hey all. I found this in my tank. It's about the width of thick elastic band. it's about the length of a long crayon.
It's it safe for my tank ? or should i remove it ? Thanks 2014-07-31 19.31.50.jpg Last edited by Mahawka; 08-01-2014 at 01:38 AM. |

![]() Predator of what? Never had any problems with these other than grabbing the odd one by accident. It's the flatworms and fire worms you need to worry about. These things only eat detritus and such. They will help clean the garbage out of your tank and all tanks have them. A sterile tank will never flourish.

![]() Personally I found that bristle worms are a indication of excess food and or detritus. Increase cuc and decrease food and their population and size will go down

![]() They get to be predators when they get up to 1" in width. And they multiply like wildfire! I keep Wrasses and a Filefish to keep them at bay.
It used to get very creepy when they all come out looking for food after my lights went out. Quote:
