![]() I never saw anything but I only bought 2 emerald crabs in my old tank and 4 years later I had 6. could have been hitch hikers but I think it is more likely that they had babies. would be neat if you could get pics at different times to see how it goes.

![]() Invertebrates are generally not easy to raise. Emerald Crabs hatch as larva that was less than 1 mm.

![]() It's worth a shot, but don't be disappointed if it doesn't work. There aren't many crustaceans that breed successfully in captivity. It might be worth checking out how people who raise peppermint shrimp from larvae and see if there's any tips you can glean.
