![]() In all reality just keep the big 3 (ca, alk and mag) at appropriate levels and it will grow.
Just watch what you wish for I wanted coraline to grow sooo bad for years but now that my levels are good it grows like crazy and I hate the stuff. It's terrible to clean off the glass and clogs the live rock out.... Now I don't want any to grow

![]() A good source of mag is Epsom salts mixed with Absolute Zero Meltdown. If I remember correctly it's 11 parts Ice Melter to 1 part Epsom Salts. Everyone gets scared and stays away as soon as you mention using something you throw on your driveway but trust me it works great as a surce of mag.
