![]() Each tank is different. You need to assess whether you're getting flow everywhere you need it. But not enough to agitate polyps. In my 75g, I ran 2 x Tunze 6100, about 3100gph each. Plus the return, another 900gph. My 180 has these plus two smaller tunzes, totalling about 10,000gph of flow in the tank. I could use more. SPS and a couple of euphyllia colonies.

![]() Just to give an idea in my system as my main tank of 180glns I have return pump with 8000 glns plus 3 other power head (1800glns/hr/each) witch roughly flows at 13000glns/hr With lots of LPS ,few NPS , a couple of softies and 6 Md/lrg. fish.I beleive of having no dead spots in my main tank.Hope that gives you an idea. |

![]() I run 2 6055 and 2 6045 plus 1200gph return in my 130g. Personally I would say you don't have enough flow.

![]() Again depends what your keeping, but I would put at least 1 per end just so the flow is even.

![]() I have a Gen-X PCX40 in the basement and the max flow is 1190gph. I raise the water about 10 feet. So I imagine I get some pretty serious flow from them as well.
Does anyone have a pump curve for it? I've never found one and I bought mine used. |

![]() I had 2 koralia 1400 in my 50 gal (long) 1 on each end ,and thats when i had the best growth out of all my corals , zoas and lps .
