Believe it or not...its not common here. At least the real one is not common. Even wild versions can catch a pretty penny.

All it takes is someone to import it and a few good growers in one area that are generous and the price will drop...over time. Takes years for nice sized colonies that can get spread around enough to do this though.

I would suggest that only certain pockets in western Canada have a lot of true red planet. I bet if someone is willing to ship it would still sell well at a good price.

P.S. Thank you for your answer Greg. He is looking into pictures of the mother colonies from his supplier but not sure if he can get them. He has assured me the frags are very nice though
