![]() For the classroom keep it simple. fluvial edges are nice but cost around $100 for a 6 gal tank.
Get a 10 gal tank, glass top w/ aquaclear 30 simple and cheap 4 nice pieces of LR and viola. My 2 darwins, 1 mandarin, an 10 inverts been living in the same tNk for 6 years. Top offs are 1/2 gal every week with minimal evaporation Ken - BWA |

![]() I completely agree with you BWA. As nice as the fluval edges are they are $$$. Im not willing to put a heck of a lot of cash into this. Please no comments about sw is flipping expensive. I know it is I have a tank. Im $5000 into my little tank.
Anyway, yes a glass tank with a glass lid and minimal livestock. Blueworldaquatic how often do you do a WC on it? Spring Break is only a week so im not worried about my tank for a week away. Ive done it with mine and no one to care for it. Its been fine. 2 weeks is winter break. I would need to visit at least twice to make sure things are fed and water is up at the correct level. Summer is where the issue will be because packing it up is a lot of work. I dont care how little your tank is, its still a lot of work. |
