![]() I would let it run for a bit, just remove the skimmer chamber and let it overflow back into the sump. It should settle down, give it a bit of time.
I experience this when using 2 part epoxy for gluing rock, it drives the skimmers crazy, but it settles down. You have just disturbed the water integrity (if that is the word I should use), no worries.
