![]() Wait till an hour after it is totally dark. You have your net ready. You shine the light on them to see and you scoop them up. They won't run because they are still kind of in sleep mode. You only get 1 or 2 shots at it though.Even if you miss wait a half hour and try again. You can usually get them first try.

![]() I would go total darkness. Only use the flashlight as needeed too. Kind of shine it over beside the fish so you can still see them. It is way easier and so much better for the fish.
