Looking to borrow a fish trap - North Vancouver
 
Im trying to catch some clowns in my tank and im having a hard time. Im looking to borrow a fish trap from someone so I can catch these guys. North Vancouver preferred but ill drive to Vancouver, new west, Burnaby, coquitlum.

i can wait, fish trap is my first idea on getting these fish out.

Clowns are really easy to catch at night with a flashlight.

Wait till an hour after it is totally dark. You have your net ready. You shine the light on them to see and you scoop them up. They won't run because they are still kind of in sleep mode. You only get 1 or 2 shots at it though.Even if you miss wait a half hour and try again. You can usually get them first try.

Hi Miliad,
I looked at what I have and it is a crab trap not a fish trap. Sorry for the false hope. Try the night catch.

all good, gonna try the night catch then this weekend im just going to remove alot of rock from the display and hopefully catch something

I would go total darkness. Only use the flashlight as needeed too. Kind of shine it over beside the fish so you can still see them. It is way easier and so much better for the fish.
