If that's all it is I guess there's not much I can do about it. I hope he doesn't get wrinkley too!

Looks a little like a sting from a coral to me, if that's the case it should go away eventually. Doesn't look like disease. Nice Clown

Another person told me it looked like a zoanthid sting. My clown usually avoids all corals in my tank so maybe he lost his resistance over the years?

I think they call it hyper melanization, usually the result of some sort of sting.

I guess all I can do is keep an eye on it to see if it gets worse.
