What have you got for dither fish? Some fish are much more comfortable when there a few other fish out in the open.

My foxface was shy for a couple of days, but now he is in the open all the time. Love him! Got rid of all my nuisance algae and keeps it in check. Eats everything I drop in as well.

not much in the way of dither fish Lance, which is why I'm hoping the tang will draw him out tomorrow. Lots of nooks and crannys he can chill in. When he's out he's actively picking on the algae on the rocks and in the corners, but I'll definately try the nori as well.

ps - weird how I consider all my fish to be male unless I know for sure...

well, it took all of about 30 minutes after I added the Kole and Blenny to the tank for the foxface to come out. Bout time too...there were some patches of algae on the back pane I couldn't reach...

My Foxface is out when there is a reason but prefers to find a comfortable spot when not much is going on. He gets over his shyness usually within a month or two then I need to trap something or aquascape and he cowers for a while.

They are great fish and mine has been with me since the start, he will literally eat anything: Any type of food that enters the water, sponges that come out of the sump, freshly curing epoxy. I think he is the Labrador of the fish world.

my guy is still pretty quick to hide with any fast movement outside the tank, but he is becoming more and more comfortable. It kind of funny actually because the two fish I see the most in that tank are my Blenny and my Sand sifting Goby...

My guy is scared of the mag-float and when my hand breaks the water surface... other than that, he is always out, swimming to greet me for food!
