Do you have any side shots of the clam? I am leaning towards derasa for the ID, but I need another photo.
Even if it is a gigas, they grow relatively slow.

Here is a side shot. I think that snail is dead because I've never seen anything come out from it...I'll pry it off anyway though.

No problem. Usually the things to look for are a side view of the shell, scutes, and closure pattern.
Those blue spots sure are pretty though!
