don't have a answer but are you planning hypo-salinity even if no problems being show?

All fish have to monitored for signs of stress. I've had a White Cheek Tang and a 6 Line Wrasse that didn't do well in it. Apparently, from what I've read, Wrasses in general don't do well in hypo salinity, and Tangs do poorly in copper.

I have heard scale-less fish don't fare well with hypo, I've also heard they don't need it as ich needs scales to attach to a fish.

I'm going to use it as part of my quarantine rigamarole. Something like 30% of a fish's energy is spent on osmoregulation so hyposaline's good for fish that came out of transport. They can spend their energy recovering instead of just osmoregulation.
